“Starting-up @bit” Workshop

Continuing our workshop series, we were happy to conduct the second edition of the “Starting-up @bit” workshop that lays the foundation of our students’ journey towards Entrepreneurship. Christopher & Holger came to BIT with a workshop program for our 2^nd year EE and CS students featuring a general introduction to Entrepreneurship as well as business ideation and validation tools such as Brainwriting and Lean Canvas. The students developed great business ideas that bear the potential to have a direct impact on Burkina Faso’s society, such as renewable energy creation or recycling of plastic waste. Putting the learnings from the workshop week into action, the students pitched their very own business ideas in front of successful founders during the “Entrepreneurship Summit” that took place at the end of the workshop week.
