If I finally come up with a promising idea how do I validate and develop it? Those were the questions we answered in our recent Accelerator workshop. While Coronavirus certainly tried to sabotage our ambitious plans, we reacted quickly and resolutely switching to online formats. Our remote team in Munich was supported by local entrepreneurs Désiré Yameogo and Honorat Badiel who joined the students at BIT in Koudougou. The two successful entrepreneurs presented their ventures and shared valuable insights they gathered along the road of founding their own companies. Together in groups, the students elaborated on their business plans along the four dimensions of Product & Market, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Finance.

The students demonstrated creativity and motivation which resulted in not only very diverse ideas but also tailor-made business concepts to meet local conditions.
